So I finally watched the movie last night, and it was pretty damn good I must say.. I think the movie did the book justice, given 2.5 hours to work with.. Yes, a lot of parts got cut out, but they still managed to put a lot of the crucial parts into the movie.. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I can say I'll definitely be buying the DVD. However, I still wish they had picked a hotter guy to play Edward. If you read the book, the author depicts Edward to be a hotter than hot, flawless, godly-looking being. Robert Pattinson doesn't do that for me. I like him, I just don't think he fit the description from the book. But, what's done is done. Like I said, I like him.. I just imagined Edward to be a tad bit better looking.
But since we're on the subject of Edward, I must say he's every girl's dream come true. He is definitely this generation's Romeo.. If I could find an Edward in my lifetime, I'd be one lucky girl.. I think that's why I was so immersed in the books when I first got them.. Sometimes it's nice to fantasize about what guys could be like, as opposed to facing the reality that most are not like Edward.. Sigh.. I wonder if I'll ever meet my Edward..

Hana Kimi (Taiwanese version)
I just finished this drama, and I must say it was pretty cute. The ending threw me off a bit, but, overall, it was good. I give it a 5/5. The characters were entertaining, each with their own uniqueness. My favorite character had to be Rui Xi. Ella did a really good job. I wasn't expecting too much of her role. A girl, pretending to be a guy? Right... She managed to make me laugh, and even made me wanna cry at times. She played the role well. Kudos to Miss Ella.
On a side note, I'm pulling an all-nighter to watch MKMF.. Am I crazy or am I crazy?

Drama, drama, drama
So, I finished "Time Between Dog and Wolf," and when I say "finished" I mean I skipped about 6 episodes and watched the last episode. I told myself, I wouldn't do it, but I was anxious to know what happened. *SPOILER* Having the main character get amnesia got me kind of annoyed.. I'm not exactly a big fan of the whole amnesia storyline in dramas.. But, all in all, the drama was good.. Well, the episodes that I actually saw were pretty good..
I've finally given into the hype and started watch Hana Kimi (Taiwanese version). I've only seen the first episode, and I like what I've seen. I found myself sitting there watching the drama, and laughing out loud to myself. We'll see what I think of the drama as it progresses..
I've got to get ready for work though.. Ta Ta~

I'm back...
Talk about being on a hiatus hehe.. Been lazy to update this thing, but here I go...
Classes are going swell this semester.. I'm doing significantly better than last year.. Maybe cuz I'm taking different classes.. Hmm...
I've started a new Korean drama called "Time between Dog and Wolf." I'm on the second episode, and so far so good. I don't normally watch "action" dramas, but Lee Junki is in it, so I thought I'd give it a try.. I'll keep you updated on how much I like it as I continue watching. I also started the Taiwanese drama "Marry Me" with Mike He (he's such a hottie!) in it.. But I can't seem to find the website that had the subbed episodes on it.. All of the popular websites only have it up to episode 2.. Oh well..
I'm starting to get obsessed with Korean variety shows, mainly "Family Outing" and "We Got Married." I started watching "Family Outing" because DBSK (U-Know and Junsu) were guests on it, and I'm not sure how I got hooked on "We Got Married." Unfortunately, I've seen all the episodes that I want to see, and the newly released episodes aren't subbed yet =( I wish I understood the Korean language.. Ahh.. Patience is a virtue.. I guess I just have to wait patiently.. Big ups to the subbers out there though..
So, I'm American, but the only thing I've been listening to lately is Asian mussic, mainly K-Pop. So many artists have made comebacks this year.. Rain, Kim Jong Kook, Son Ho Young, and DBSK, to name a few. There's something about their music that just reaches my soul.. So melodic and addictive, really.. But the one group I must have attention to is BIG BANG.. Words can't describe how *wow* they are. If you get a chance, listen to some of their songs.. They're so different and creative.. Love it!
I've been thinking about what I could do with my blog to make it more appealing to readers.. And when I come up with something, you'll see haha.. For now, I'll just continue my boring ways, and maybe someone will accidentally come across my blog and enjoy reading what I have to say..
Til then, take care!

Asia
Some countries I absolutely want to visit : Taiwan, China, Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea.
Why?
Taiwan and China
- The language is beautiful. I've been somewhat practicing with my cousin and it's just so fun trying to learn the language.
- My grandmothers on both sides were part Chinese. It's good to learn about your heritage, no?
- I love Taiwanese drama.
- Dim sum and Chinese food are so yummy!
Japan
- I took Japanese for two years in middle school and absolutely loved it.
- Everything about the language and culture seems so elegant and unique to me.
- I love me some sushi!
Korea
- I absolutely heart Korean dramas. They're so heartfelt and so damn dramatic!
- Se7en and Rain happen to be 2 of the most amazing music artists I've ever heard. I absolutely love Korean music.. Even though I don't exactly understand all of the words to the songs, the melody is what catches my attention.
Vietnam
- I gotta go back one day and pay respects to my deceased grandparents.
- Although I was born in the states, my parents were born in Vietnam, so I gotta learn more about where I come from.
- My aunts, uncles, and cousins are there.. Family's important ya know?
All in all, I just want to learn more about these countries. I feel that the best way to fully grasp and take in a country's culture is to actually travel to that certain country. So.. Maybe one day I'll get to live my dream.

My very first post

Hi fellow bloggers!
It's my very first blog on blogspot, and to celebrate, I'm gonna dedicate this to the sexiest Asian person alive.. Hero Jaejoong (of DBSK,TVXQ, whatever you wanna call them).. I'm positive I'm not the only person with this opinion, BUT, I'll talk about him anyway! The picture speaks for itself. He looks like he's from one of those Japanese anime series. So fragile, yet undeniably hot lol. But not only does he have the looks, he's also got the talent. I've seen various videos of him on youtube and Veoh.. Sighh... Such a lovely sight. I would absolutely love to go to one of his concerts one day... But don't get me wrong, the other members of DBSK are quite attractive as well.. But no one beats my Hero hehe =)
Well I hope everyone had a pleasant 4th of July. Mine was spent watching a Taiwanese drama, Why Why Love.. But I'll talk about that another time.
Until next time,
MzLynda
P.S. I'm still new at this, so bear with me as I figure out how to make my blog nice and pretty for you guys to enjoy ^_^
